In The Mummy (1932).[]

Isis is the ancient benevolent godess of the health and marriage, the wife of Osiris (the god of afterlife and dead) and Horus s´mother. Thousand years before of the events in The Mummy, Isis read the Scroll of Thoth to resurrect Osiris who was killed by Set.

In The Mummy 1932. Princess Ankh-es-en-amon was a daughter of the Pharaoh and priestess of Isis in Ancient Egypt. Dr. Muller states that an amulet with the image of the goddess Isis protects against the dark powers of Imhotep.

After Imhotep has Helen Grovesnor (reincarnated Ankh-es-en-amon) in her possession, she is manipulated by the living mummy, but when Frank Whemple and Dr Muller enter, they make Helen remember her past life and pray to Isis apologizing for falling under the influence of Imhotep before. Imhotep stops the two men, and when he goes to stab Helen to mummify her, Helen remembers a prayer to Isis in the ancient Egyptian language, which causes Isis to defend her. The goddess incinerates the Scroll of Thoth, which breaks the spell that gave Imhotep his immortality, and Imhotep disintegrates saving Helen.
